No Gap With A Windows To Linux Migration

From Unix and Windows to Red Hat Linux thanks in part to Likewise. As you can see in this article, The Gap has followed along a different path as they had outgrown their old infrastructure. What will be interesting to see is if this switch sticks or not.
Another interesting thing to note is the comment that appears at the end of the article. In it, there is a claim that Tommy Hilfiger went to Redhat Linux and then back to Windows again. Interestingly, when I went to research this as the person who left the comment opted not to bother providing proof of this, I found the same comment from the same person in this article as well. Uh, Microsoft shill…anyone?
Best of all, in neither comment was evidence provided. Now, I am going to assume that there is truth to his statement and that Tommy Hilfiger did indeed switch back. After all, I found a couple of links supporting the initial switch to Red Hat. So clearly, the switch back must have happened on a really busy news day…

Windows to Linux migration sounds nice in theory, but does everything trully migrate unaltered? I always wondered this.
