Funding Your Open Source Project

There should be an image here! There is really no question about it, trying to fund an open source project is no walk in the park. Not only is it helpful to find a means of obtaining funding that does not mean having to resort to dual licensing, but sometimes it simply comes down to other interested parties willing to pony up the cash when the rubber hits the road.

Sadly, this is easier said than done. Most often due to issues of trust and trying to convince those new to the project that you are the ideal money manager and that you will not be taking the donations and disappearing.

Realizing the importance of locating a trusted third party, I thought this article might serve as a resource for those who are not in the know. The list may not be extensive, but at least you will be able to see how each of the resources provided might best meet your needs.
