Novell Continues To Do Well In Economic Downturn

They say that if a company finds a way to capitalize on saving people money or getting them to instinctively want your product, no recession can harm you. Clearly Novell is seeing a taste of this here recently.
And it is with Novell’s Open Platform Solutions that we are seeing the growth with. Really, this should not come as a surprise. Despite my own misgivings with Novell at times, they are good at what they do. Their Open Platform Solutions is a decent reflection of this.
So as Novell sits pretty for the time being, I am finding myself wondering if we will see other open source solution companies reaping similar benefits. I have begun to recognize it here in my own neck of the woods, curious if others have on a local level as well with other open source consultants?
