Open Up Ad Control With OpenX

Open source solutions to web based advertising is hardly anything new, but those previous attempts that I have seen generally suck pretty hard. Out of kindness, I will avoid pointing to the specific examples as they are really struggling and I hate to point out what most of their users are likely already discovering.

This brings me to something that may very well turn out to be quite successful, assuming they can make their market to market approach work. Seriously, relying exclusively on AdSense really is a let down for most bloggers. It is the rare niche, often product based, that makes it big.
