Yes, I feel that these videos are amazing. While there will always be naysayers, it is really cool to see this sort of footage happening right before our very eyes.
Is this really that big of an issue? No, I am totally serious. Should we be concerned about this or are perhaps still safe for the time being. In all honesty, I think it will require a bit longer to really be sure.

While this is a great report below, the content being reported on made me feel the need to speak up: Most people have no clue what Linux even is, much less find themselves associating it with troublemakers. Yes, desktop Linux has issues. But this is not one of them.
