If you are interested in spending your free time becoming more and more familiar with a terminal environment, then I can’t think of a better place to start than Tilda. New, fresh and fun!

This release many small bug fixes plus: a new configure backend (you’ll need to either use the python script to convert your old config files or delete them and make them again), increase use of glib (glib 2.8 or greater is needed), no more blinking of the screen when hitting backspace, delete or tab multiple times, sliding action is added, and shortcuts for addings tabs and moving to the next and prev tab. Get .09.2 here. You’ll also need libconfuse. Sorry for the added dependency but libconfuse makes handling the configuration a lot easy. Shortcuts for tabs are: Ctrl-Shift-T (New Tab), Ctrl-Shift-PageUp (Next Tab), Ctrl-Shift-PageDown (Prev Tab). [Read the rest]
