Linux saves yet another…

And speaking as a fan of Linux, don’t kid yourself into believing that you will be reinstalling any less with that OS over Windows. It’ll just be for different reasons…

This is a little blog for those newbies out there that are tired of the windblows and other costly os’s and are discovering linux.

So there I am - a long time windwho’s? user and (needless to say a very pissed one). I have a dear friend who made a couple of attempts earlier (Red Hat 6.0 earlier that is) to enlighten me. Now he is a big time commercial programmer, mind you and I am just a big time film camera operator. This doesn’t really make me a profy with comps, but I have to say I know my PC ( I had to assemble them in the old days from the spare parts myself - that way it was much cheaper.
