Desktop Linux for small business

I could not disagree more. While their choice of a winner is a fine desktop OS. The fact that Xandros 3.0 and Linspire 5.0 were totally left out, leaves me wondering if these guys are really in touch with what a business is looking for in ease of use and access to software without any unexpected headaches.

As desktop Linux becomes ever more professional, and with Microsoft still a year away from shipping its new Vista version of Windows, could now be the time to go open-source on the desktop? Of course, circumstances will vary from company to company, but if you’re ready to make the move, there’s a good crop of Linux distributions ready to accommodate your needs. [Read the rest]
