FOSS word processors compared: OOo Writer, AbiWord, and KWord

While everyone has their favorite OSS editors, I tend to lean toward KWord myself when in a Linux environment. But then again, that’s just me.
OpenOffice.org’s Writer. But now, after several years of development, AbiWord and KWord are both reaching early maturity. How do Writer, AbiWord, and KWord compare?

KDE users aren’t real gnu/linux users. They are basically Windows users who prefer not to use Windows.

Fair enough, as I use GNOME myself, even if a few KDE apps tickle my fancy within the GNOME desktop. But statements like that are sort of like saying only rednecks drive pickup trucks. :)
I believe most people just want it to accomplish a specific task, not open doors to any kind of idealism.
