Government Open Source Conference GOSCON

I have to be up front about something. It seems like many Open Source conferences are more fluff than content these days. Having said this, I think I like what I am hearing about the one coming to event coming up, the Oregon Open Source Conference.

The Government Open Source Conference GOSCON is coming back again…for a third year…with plenty of substance Oct 15-16, 2006 at the Portland, Oregon Hilton. Short semi-shameless plug: Open Source Lab at Oregon State University continues to put together an event that remains affordable for the public sector and has become a platform for building an IT ecosystem around state and local government in particular.
