While the naming of new corporate officers may not seem like that big a deal, it certainly can be for the company that they are working for. I think the in many cases, naming a good CFO can make or break the financial structure and assets of the said corporation.
The Open Source Development Labs has named Mike Temple its first chief financial officer, the Linux development consortium said Monday. Temple most recently was an executive vice president at Bioject Medical Technologies, which develops needle-free drug injection technology.
OSDL laid off some staff in May as part of a shift to new priorities, including the establishment of a European office. In July, the lab named Claude Beullens to lead that office. Beullens has worked at Apollo Computer and Hewlett-Packard. [Get the links]
