Well what do you know! It seems that someone has gone out and developed an Open Source help desk system.

Except its… not availiable.
They’ve taken down the 1.3 version, and the 2.0 version has, at least, reading the forums, been “Coming soon” for over a year now.
I’d hazard a guess to say its been abandoned.

mmm…Still the same in September ‘07. Believe 1.3.1 was Feb ‘06.
There was a bittorrent of the 2.0…check that out here…

Update - osTicket seems dead. There’s a sourceforge project now.
