Kmail, the only email app that actually made me reconsider my Linux use of Thunderbird. The Kmail client is quite frankly amazing and can take its share of abuse. Equipped to handle multiple forms of spam filtering and virus detection as well. I think you will find that going back any email other app is really hard to do once you get accustomed to it.

Back on my Windows desktop, I am still using Thunderbird. It totally has everything I need. But let me tell ya, if Kmail or better yet; the Kontact PIM suite came over to Windows - my world would drastically change forever.
