A test version of Fox Linux has been released by the Fox development team recently. Said to be based on Fedora, this test version of Fox Linux will allow potential users to see what this distribution will have to offer once completed.
I have to ask, where in the world do people come up with the names for those Linux distributions. Some are down right clever, but this one seems to lack a certain “pizazz” for some reason. Hmm, maybe it is just me.
A new test version of FoX Desktop has been released: “The FoX Linux Team has the pleasure to announce the release of FoX Desktop 0.6. FoX Desktop is a Linux operating system based on Fedora Core 2. Version 0.6 is intended as a TEST release to show the concepts and the capabilities of this new Linux distribution. We have added new functionalities and cool design. An important part of our job was dedicated to the optimisation for i686, to build a very fast operating system! Features: KDE 3.3.1; kernel 2.6.8; X.Org 6.7.0; Firefox 0.10.1…. Your tests and bug reports will be highly appreciated.”
