New KDE Linux Shell Gains Polish

KDE 3.3 has been out for a few days now and the reviews are now starting to come in. I haven’t been able to give this new version a try but am hoping too very soon. This LinuxInsider report covers some of the noteworthy improvements made as well as the new apps you can expect to see as part of the K.D.E. desktop. According to the article “Altogether over 7,000 bugs have been fixed, and over 2,000 items on users’ wish-lists have been fulfilled, according to KDE.” Wow! K.D.E. 3.3 represents yet another remarkable milestone in Linux desktop development. Congrats to the folks of the K.D.E. development team.
