Here’s a tool that’s supposed to take the uncertainty out of choosing a Linux distro. It’s appropriately called the Linux Distribution Chooser. The interface is simply point and click and after a series of questions just about five or so it recommends a distro. I took the distro chooser for a spin and after indicating I wanted to do a harddrive install of a more technical distro that was less than two years old Fedora was spit out as the Linux distribution I should try. So if you haven’t made up your mind on what distro to try let the Linux Distribution Chooser be your guide.
