Netscape Browser Update to be released to AOL users

Those of you that know me realize that AOL and I do not see eye to eye. With that said, I have to give them a huge round of applause for their work on a new Netscape release coming soon to AOL subscribers. Netscape 7.2 is already available for download from the Netscape site for those that would like to have it now. AOL on the other hand is going to be releasing their updated browser release at some point before the end of this month.

It is my hope that AOL will be working to offer their subscribers a choice of browsers rather than continuing to overlay everyone with Internet Explorer (IE) like they have done in the past. In fairness to IE users, AOL ought to allow users to choose which browser the subscriber would prefer to use rather than assuming that Netscape this the best option for everyone.

What Do You Think?
