In a rather blunt post to advogato.org, one person there feels that there are a number of occasions that Open Source software bugs go unfixed. He goes on to vent his frustration at the “perceived” bugs and problems that he has been dealing with while using specific software under the GPL.
I think this guy has gone off the deep end. He seems to not understand that bug reporting is part of how Open Source works. Having software with bugs, not reporting them and then expecting the problem to rectify itself is plum nuts. It will not happen that way.
