Linux migration has been a hot topic lately. In the news and at conventions, it seems like this is the major area of concern for would be Windows-to-Linux converts. Well it looks like Open Source companies are in fact, beginning to answer the call to arms in defense of the worlds favorite Open Source OS. Migration programs like Alacos hold much promise as they strut their stuff at conventions for Linux lovers to witnesses in awe. A program designed to allows Windows users to safely migrate to Linux headache free, huh? And if that was not enough, we have 3D Linux, Linux notebooks, major Linux ventures and the list continues to grow. If I were Microsoft, I think I would spend less time mud slinging and a little more time in the ‘ol R & D dept. ;o)
