If you’ve been hoping to parlay your mad Linux skillz into a Linux job, then there’s good news! Tech Target interviewed the CEO of Dice prior to the start of Linux World next week, and he’s seeing an increase in both Linux job postings and their average salary.
The recommendation is if you will be attending Linux World (would that I could), you should bring your resume. California has the bulk of the Linux jobs, with New York and New Jersey second and third, respectively.
With a little luck, maybe my home state of Illinois won’t be far behind. Heh.
