Paul Gallant of OSNews explores the realitys of using Linux for video production. Linux has the ability to use some really great tools. Programs such as “The Gimp“, and Audacity are two old standbys that have proven to be effective tools. Unfortunetly, the author felt like that he would be better off for the time being using a Windows box for the video work and using his Linux boxes for critical work like running his business. Hopefully he has better success the next time he tries.
