Thanks to the efforts of Acucorp, Cobol applications now have the opportunity for a new lease on life. “The marriage of 64-bit SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 8 and IBM’s 64-bit zSeries platform combines the traditional strengths of the latest IBM mainframe servers with the flexibility and open standards of SuSE Linux,” said Cameron Jenkins, Acucorp’s vice president of strategic partnerships.
