Novell, the folks that currently own SuSE Linux, are concerned that the OS may be a little too “top heavy” for desktop deployment. The biggest benefit of slimming down SuSE Linux is that it will help make “desktop deployments easier to support”. This will be a special version that will be used primarily to meet enterprise needs.
