If Matt’s “Roll your own Linux” post yesterday got your attention, you should take a look at Linux From Scratch. The goal of LFS is to allow users to create their own Linux distribution and, hopefully, learn something along the way.
Want to know more? Check out this success story about two Baltimore-area library technicians who used LFS to create their own distribution (dubbed Lumix) to replace their aging Windows software as well as provide greater flexibility and security while saving them money.
