Do you urpmi?

urpmi mini-HOWTO

This is a tip for the Mandrake crowd out there. A really easy way to download software is to use a urpmi source. In a sense, you’re downloading library headers for the software contained in an on-line index. Those headers are listed in your “install new software” list by repository. Later, I’ll list some of the more popular sources for urpmi’s. But for now, here’s a quick “how-to” on these handy little gadgets. As they say over at SUSE…have a lot of fun.
