Who Needs MS Office?

Writer Lou Dolinar discovers that there is no need to drop $400 on MS Office when Open Office has everything you need! To be honest, most people do not really need all of the extra stuff that comes with MS Office and quickly end up wondering why they bothered to spend the money. The only two things that MS Office offer that I think are of any use are Access and Outlook - the rest can be substituted for free with other software products.

You don’t need Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint but you need
Access.
What about OpenOffice’s Base?
