How they have changed Linux forever with the concept of Debian’s package system. The feeling of control the package system allows for it’s users with a simple method of software installation. As well as attraction to new Linux users looking to get away from other distros.
While the future of Linux may seem a little unsure with SCO on the rampage, the Debian project team remains vigilant in keeping Debian “on top” in the wonderful world of Linux.
