Another interesting backup solution showed up in my e-mail, from
Robert Burns (perhaps unrelated to the writer):
“I’ve followed the past few issues with respect to
backup solutions, and thought I’d throw just one more into the
mix. It’s mostly a disaster recovery tool, but can be used for
creating regular system ‘diffs’. It’s one I’ve used a couple of
times and have been extremely happy with. It’s ‘Mondo
Rescue.’“It offers a bootable CD recovery system along with many other
neat features. Check it out when you get a chance.”
Now, PENGUINS, I’m going to leave you with another homework
assignment. Go to a Linux forum - any one will do - and answer a
newbie question in a helpful manner. You were a newbie once, and I
bet someone helped you out. It’s time to share the love!
