“CheckUPS actively checks United Parcel Service’s Web site (via crontab) on the status of a shipped package. When the package status has changed, it sends notice to any email addresses the user may have supplied (email, ICQ, pager, phone, etc). It provides logging of all status check attempts, results, and the last notice sent out.”
