ShellDorado
Unearthed by Darryl Plunkie
Penguin Shell readers definitely look to the future. Darryl Plunkie sent me this link this weekend in anticipation of the shell scripting series coming up the week of February 4. In his own words, “I work in the *nix world at work and shells scripts are the workhorse, packhorse and plow horse rolled into one.” That being the case, ShellDorado is the workhorse, packhorse and plow horse of scripting sites for Linux. This site has dozens of useful shell scripts, covering everything from daily administration tasks to interesting file manipulations. Of course Penguin Shell readers will be writing the shell scripting series with your own submissions, but ShellDorado is clearly a great resource for scripting nearly any task in Linux.
