As you may know, O’Reilly is the preeminent technical publishing house. Their exhaustive library includes “Running Linux” and “Linux In A Nutshell,” both indispensible to Linux users both old and new. The OnLamp site takes the O’Reilly philosophy to the web. Thoughtful and useful articles fill the OnLamp site, with topics ranging from “Cleaning Up Ports” to “Building Freeciv: An Open Source Strategy Game.” There’s useful stuff aplenty at OnLamp.com
