This site aims to safely walk the newbie Linux user through the minefield of filesystems, distributions,
desktop environments, and much, much more. The format presents new items on the front page with links
to “Newbieized Help Files,” Articles, Discussion, and Bookshelf. I especially liked the discussions,
which are further broken down into relevant and very useful categories. LinuxNewbie.org is a great place
to go either when you need a quick answer or are looking for some “learning time” to kill.
