Janie Hendrix has Finally Lost It

I present the Gibson Jimi Hendrix Authorized guitar.  This is prima facie evidence that the Hendrix estate, led by half-sister Janie Hendrix, has finally gone 302 certifiably batshit involuntarily-committed crazy.

I have ranted about Janie before, using terms like demented, necrophiliac (and worse - Yoko Ono).  That’s usually when I’m in a charitable mood.  I’m feeling slightly less inhibited these days, perhaps due to the Flu of Non-Porcine Variety.

There are pictures of Jimi playing Gibson guitars so this is not a surprise.  I’ve seen a black Les Paul with soapbar pickups, a white SG, and both left and right-handed Flying Vs.

The Gibson Jimi Hendrix guitar is not any of these guitars.  The Gibson Jimi Hendrix guitar is a Strat-shaped, white-bodied, right-handed guitar with a reverse pointy headstock.  They essentially took the Fender Hendrix guitar, changed the headstock and changed the brand.

But wait!!!!  That’s not all.

If you buy now, you get a hysterically reverse-slanted rear pickup and a Gen-You-Wine purple Jimi Hendrix Estate decal, right on the pickguard!  It’s authorized, man.

In conclusion, I don’t think any court of law would let this one escape.  Let’s band together to get Janie the psychiatric help she needs and put someone else at the helm of Experience Hendrix.  Perhaps someone who has run a business before.  Or someone functioning on all remaining brain cells, no matter how few.  Or even someone who knew Jimi.
