JUDGE CHEESEHEAD RULES

A Wisconsin court has ruled that police can GPS your car without a warrant.  They claim it violates no one’s rights, even if the driver isn’t a suspect.  There is no warrant necessary because this isn’t search or seizure.

Furthermore, breaking into your house and terrorizing you, your children, and your pets isn’t search or seizure either, so they’ll be round every Sunday night.  But they’re not going to tell you what time.

The Department of Justice’s 2010 budget includes $233.9 million in funding for “Advanced Electronic Surveillance” to help the FBI “deal with changing technology and ways to intercept phone calls such as those used by VOIP phones or technology such as Skype.
