It’s Tea Party Time

We’re tired.  Tired of the idiotic decisions and spending in D.C.  In the find tradition of our ancestors, it’s Tea Party Time.

Find the tea party closest to you!

It is of course no coincidence that the date for the larger parties nationally is April 15 - TAX DAY.

Attend one (at least).  If you can’t attend, take one teabag, put it in an envelope, and mail it to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue., Washington, D.C.  It will allow you to express your sentiments for the cost of a stamp (and a teabag).

Isn’t it worth that much?

Attention Conservatives who are serious about reducing spending

Let’s cut the bloated military budget.

This year’s Pentagon budget runs about 500 billion dollars…that’s 20 times more than the entire military budget of China…a growing rival power with 3 times the population of the US.

Just the Pentagon’s cost overruns and waste would be enough to finance China’s entire military budget.

It would be one thing if we were getting something for our money. But most of the money is going for programs that will not help us fight or win the wars we are fighting in Afghanistand and Iraq.

Our bloated military budget has not been a match against barefoot farmers in far of lands brandishing ak 47’s

Norris: I think you’re halfway there. You haven’t mentioned the black or grey budgets.

If people could see the figures of where the money really goes, there would be rioting in the streets. (at least until the next season of Americans Idle.)

Thanks for the comment.

No doubt we could kill everyone in both countries with conventional weapons if we wished, but in these “wars” our hands are definitely tied vs wars past, where the goal is to win at any cost.

However, i think we are doing very well vs barefooted farmers with ak’s while being thousands of miles from home and technically outnumbered.
