RELIGION (or WHY NOT START OUT WITH SOMETHING NON-OFFENSIVE?):

The pope recently stated that condoms “increase the problem of HIV transmission in Africa.”  The Lancet responded.

In a 23-11 vote, the UN Human Rights Council urged member states to adopt laws outlawing criticism of religion.  The blight on our soil scores another direct miss.

OBAMA:

How is it that the number one question asked to Obama was about legalizing marijuana?  Smells suspiciously like a write-in campaign to me.

That aside, the whole concept is a misnomer.  The government would not be legalizing marijuana; it would be decriminalizing marijuana.  The government has no business telling citizens what they can and can’t put into their bodies.  I believe the criminalization to be against our constitution, along with suicide and prostitution laws.  Think about it.

When the Candidate Obama promised to get our troops out of Iraq, he apparently failed to mention this was in order to send them to Afghanistan.  President Obama just ordered four thousand troops there.  That should be a really big help - almost as big as giving away trillions to financial corporations as a reward for screwing their businesses into the ground.

Due to federal and local laws, the police can take your money if you don’t have an adequate explanation for carrying it.
