Based upon Obama’s history, as well as attorney general nominee Eric Holder, there’s good reason for concern over the Second Amendment.
Holder voted against the repeal of the DC gun ban. Now let’s face it - the DC gun ban is unconstitutional regardless of what you think about guns. Holder has stated publicly that the Second Amendment does not apply to individuals. What does this tell you?
Obama claims he will uphold the rights of gun owners. There is apparent concern, as the number of background checks has gone up significantly from that of the previous year. He does support “common sense laws…. so that guns do not fall into the hands of terrorists..”
Ah yes, throw the T-word in. It adds great dramatic effect to anything.
