As I mentioned earlier, the fawning over President-elect Obama is nauseating. Let’s hope the guy doesn’t take his press releases and reviews too seriously.
I have been hearing about the new hires for a while now. The first batch proved that Obama was serious about change by hiring people who have been embedded for a long time. The next batch made it look like people were being hired with serious knowledge about their fields.
When this was brought up recently, my opinion was that in spite of the knowledge and competence of the new hires, any of their ideas or skills would be trumped by Business. For example, let’s say that Global Warming is determined to be real by all parties and caused by our greenhouse gas emissions. The recommendation from the expert is to cut emissions by fifty percent.
In the Bush regime, there would be much laughter because it would impact the contributors. My guess is that it will be similar during Obama’s tenure. Business speaks very loudly.

I remember a comment made by a Liberal talk show host back in the early 1980’s.
In the Soviet Union you can vote yes or no. In the United States you can vote Republican or Democrat.
While I didn’t agree much with some of his views, this one was a brilliant observation.

With so many clintonista retreads and rabid liberals hired, just who are those that are to implement the “change” we’ve heard so much about? Just what “change” should we expect after the libs have engineered the greatest economic collapse since fdr?
Re your “global warming” supposition, more and more scientists with actual expertise in the related fields have used fact to contradict the socialist screaming monkey set. Those cultural Stalinists who use political correctness to subdue any and all who dare to oppose the mantra.
