Once again the people have spoken.
And once again, the miscreants in D.C. have completely ignored them.
This time, the head miscreant is guilty.

If it’s bad when Congress ignores the will (and communications) of the People, what is it when the president ignores Congress?

Actually, I believe it’s called Standard Operating Procedure for this regime.

I wonder if he just doesn’t like Obama and is doing his best to wreck everything he didn’t already wreck on his way out. 

That’s as good a theory as any other.

To recap: Congress ignored the demands of the people and gave their money to the financial institutions so they can give out millions in Retention Payments (not bonuses!).  This same group will not produce a shred of paperwork on the restructuring, even after being sued.

In a rare moment of sanity, half of Congress refused to give a handout to the auto makers. Chrysler threatened to close its plants for a month and President Stupid decided to give a handout to the auto makers too, only this will come out of the taxpayer money set aside for the already outrageous financial handout.

And in the midst of all this, Congress found time to give itself a RAISE. (see earlier story)
