You Know it’s Time to Worry When…

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents are on their way from the US to India to help in the investigation of Mumbai terror attacks. President George Bush pledged India full support over the Mumbai crisis and the FBI, which is charged with tracking international and domestic terrorists, has sent a team of investigators.

Hi, we’re from the FBI and we’re here to help you (come to the correct conclusions) in your investigation.

During two days of questioning, Kashmiri-born Azam Amir Kasav, who used the alias Ajmal Kasab, told police: ‘I have no regrets’. He is said to have told officers the cell was to seek out ‘white targets, preferably British and American’. Kasav revealed that the ten terrorists, who were highly trained in marine assault and crept into the city by boat, had planned to blow up the Taj Mahal Palace hotel after first executing British and American tourists and then taking hostages. He then added that their intention was to kill 5,000 people.

Five thousand people.  No regrets.  Houston, we have a problem…

An Iraqi court on Sunday ordered the release of a freelance photographer working for Reuters news agency who has been held by U.S. forces since early September. The Iraqi Central Criminal Court ruled there was no evidence against Ibrahim Jassam Mohammed, and ordered that the U.S. military release him from Camp Cropper prison near Baghdad airport.

This should prove interesting.  The Iraqi court has issued a ruling against the US.  They’ll probably have to drop the case when Dick Cheney flies over there and explains the meaning of National Security to them.

Iraq and Iran on Sunday exchanged the remains of 241 soldiers killed during an eight-year war between the two countries — the latest sign of increased cooperation between the neighboring nations that were fierce rivals under Saddam Hussein.

Heartwarming, no?

Breaking with a military tradition of keeping silent about policy, a top German general has branded his country’s efforts in Afghanistan a failure…

Apparently Cheney will have to visit this fellow too…

I think the only thing that these b@$tards are going to understand will be MIRVed ICBMs “redecorating” Mecca and Medina.

What Do You Think?
