Trust the FDA - Why Should a few Dead Babies Matter?

The Food and Drug Administration knew for certain that there was melamine in baby food in this country.
So the agency that has been entrusted with our welfare blew the whistle on the companies and now all of the baby food is safe, right?
No way, guys.
The FDA got on the horn with the manufacturers to give them the heads up.
The FDA did not actually do anything to fix the situation. They just called their buddies and sat on the info.
Melamine. You know… the stuff that killed people in China? It’s in BABY FOOD. In America. The FDA knew. There was no public notification. There was no recall. The only reason we know this is because of a Freedom of Information Act request filed by the Associated Press (in a rare awake moment).
This is proof positive for even the hardest of heads out there that the FDA is bought and paid for by corporate interests (like the rest of our fair government). Instead of looking out for the safety of American citizens, they’re doing quality control and testing for baby food manufacturers.
In the interest of fairness, the manufacturers claim the melamine is at a safe level (whatever that level is).
Wake up.

FDA takes $500 Million of it’s $2.2 Billion in annual funding Direct from drug & med device manufacturers under the euphemism for Bribe called “User Fees”.
The garbage antidepressants FDA certifies as “safe & effective” have young kids committing suicide all over the place.
The garbage antipsychotics FDA helps push cut 25 years off a person’s life while they’re crippling them into brain dead Hunchbacks of Notre Dame.
Next year the FDA “User Fees” will go up from $500 Mill to $628 Mill. The Jackasses prescribing these poisons - Psychiatrists - believe and state that 1 in every 5 Americans can’t function without them. And NO, I’m not a Scientologist, but I Am major-league pissed off. The mental health industry Does have billions in Govt funding and Is pressing forward with its 1 in 5, ….. & the FDA is eyeteeth deep in bed with them.
