The Fed is refusing demands for transparency in identifying who is getting more than TWO TRILLION DOLLARS in taxpayer handouts.  A Freedom of Information suit was filed to obtain this information.  They’re laughing at us, people.

As if that weren’t quite enough, it turns out that the two trillion figure comes from separate handouts that did not require congressional approval.  This is after the initital handout of eight hundred billion, where transparency was promised.

My wife buys me all kinds of funny t-shirts.  I wore one the other day that said `Always Being Right is an Awesome Responsibility’.

This is not a secret now and we shouldn’t be all that surprised, yet I’m still good and angry.  Perhaps I’m angry for the rest of you - I sure as hell don’t know.

Where is the outrage?  Bernanke stole the money from us, the taxpayers, with the gleeful assistance of Congress and a criminal lame duck president (as yet unindicted).  Now, after shoving the package down our throats, it’s apparently ok to give out more than twice that amount without even asking.

Here’s some more good news: Pakistan is lobbying for TEN BILLION in US aid because they’re bankrupt too.  Mind you, we’re already throwing $125 MILLION at Pakistan on a monthly basis.
