We Are a Nation of Morons - Phillies Edition

While I’m getting dressed this morning, my wife is watching the local Fox affiliate on tv. It appeared to be twenty full minutes of coverage about the Phillies. There were nuns dressed in red.
Yesterday a friend told me he lost one hundred twenty five thousand from his 401k due to what has been done to the economy.
But it’s ok, the Phillies are apparently doing well enough to deserve twenty minutes of morning news time. If the Great Unwashed would afford the current situation half the time they spend on sports, perhaps we’d all be in a better place.
Now I have to go check the schedule for Americans Idle, as well as when the Beer Delivery is coming.

I can’t agree more. The nation’s inability to accept the inevitable economic collapse is a reflection on why the economy is doing so badly. If only we could listen to Ron Paul…
