It would appear that Page, Jones, and Bonham (Jason - son of John) were rehearsing and had gone to the effort of trying to find a tour replacement for Plant, who didn’t want to tour. When Plant discovered this, he relented. As a result, one of rock’s greatest bands of all time will be touring in 2009.
My obvious excitement is tempered by the truly odd timing of this tour. Due to the US financial meltdown, I will not be able to get a second mortgage on my house so I can get a pair of tickets to see the fearsome foursome.
