- Governor Sarah Palin told an Iraq-bound brigade of soldiers that included her son that they would “defend the innocent from the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans.”
- President Bush stated that Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11
As impolite as it may be to quote the legendary Meat Loaf, “Well… what’s it gonna be..?”

We need a defense against politicians like Bush and Palin who use human suffering to promote their own personal or corporate agenda.

If I were behind the attacks of 9-11, and were being hunted by the USA, I sure wouldn’t be in the same place I was seven years ago.

For Michael G
What about defense against people who think that killing innocent civilians who use human suffering to promote their own personal religious agenda? You planning to show them what a nice person you are? If you think that will work, the result you’ll achieve won’t be to your liking

It is clear that the American people need a CHANGE in the way this country is run. Four more years of the Bush failed policies that McCain/Palin offer is not in the best interest of the people. This great nation needs CHANGE, with new leadership that only Obama/Biden can provide. Not more of the same!

After watching the spectacle from both of political parties…I come to realize that McCain & Obama are unfit to serve THIS country…rather than themselves & their minnions. Being forthcoming that you are fit to serve this country is the same as me driving a vehicle into a wall at 100 mph.
From what’s come out of this governor’s mouth about the “Iraq War” being a mission from God & the above quote…she’s a nutjob of the first caliber. Since McCain picked her…he’s even more of an nutjob.
With Obama never able to give an honest answer & having heard Biden during his last run…they are just as bad nutjobs.
Come this election…the best way to vote is to just find a name on a headstone & write that name in. This person would have to be able to do a better job than anything we have to choose from.

I think you ought to leave the political punditry for people who are more qualified. This crap has no place here and you should not be using your position of trust to promote your silly liberal agenda. Charlie Gibson made a big enough fool of himself with his biased questioning that you don’t have to show your own weak point of view. Start a politcal blog and join the rest of the Anti-American crowd jumping for joy at any chance to bring us down and destroy our way of life.

Obviously, she does not have a clue. Being from Alaska seems to have removed her from the mainstream. She may be a good leader for a hunting group or small towns, but not for our country.
People need to vote based on issues, not personality.
The bottom line is if you like how the country is now and want things to continue as they have been for the past 8 years, then vote for McCain. If you want to see the President try to move us in a different direction, then vote for Obama.
McCain has some nerve to say he represents change and that he will work to reform. As he himself pointed out, he has voted with Bush over 90% of the time even more than most other Republicans. Is that really the mark of a person who wants to change things?

Bob: careful - you sound like a commercial!
D: you GET it!
Ava: I love it when people are rude and make assumptions, which is why I didn’t delete your comment. A cursory look around by someone with an average number of brain cells should reveal my leanings.
Since you have proven that you didn’t look around or aren’t possessed of the requisite number of brain cells, I’ll try to explain. If someone points out lies of republicans, it doesn’t necessarily prove a liberal agenda. If someone points out democratic lies, it doesn’t prove a conservative agenda.
A lie is a lie. A fraud is a fraud, regardless of the leanings of the observer. This isn’t quantum physics.
If you can open the expanse between your ears for a moment, read D Lowrey’s comment. If you disagree, you’re just not bright enough to read this blog. Be one with the mind-addled masses who think there’s a difference between one party and the other.
And stop throwing around `anti-American.’ If anybody is anti-American, it’s the people who use it to suppress dissent. Like your president. What could be more American than standing up and speaking the truth? It’s only bad when people just won’t get it.
Now if you want to act like a human, show me the flaw in what I posted. It’s from their lips. This isn’t hearsay. It’s not fantasy. It’s not a political debate. READ THEIR LIPS.
Scott - you’re almost there!
Thanks for the well thought out comments, everyone.

Ignore the critics who want to silence the political forum. Shed light whereever you can. Let your critics show their true colors. It’s better than a paid ad.

To Stephan Jared:
You linked to an article by Palin’s political adversary whose a politico with the other party. What would you expect her to say? This is no more the “light” than any number of talking point pieces from either party.
Is this your first election or are you even old enough to vote yet?

What is up with you people. Obama has no executive experience. He was a community organizor . What kind of experience do you think he gained in that job to prepare him to lead our country. I want someone with a little more experience and he doesn’t have it.
One more thing. McCain is not the same person Bush is.
I’m tired of hearing we’ll have four years of the same.
Vote for McCain
