Reminders, with respect

It was seven years ago this morning when I heard the news: a plane hit one of the Twin Towers in New York.  I distinctly remember where I was, perhaps making this my generation’s version of `where were you when Kennedy was assassinated?’

It barely registered.  There was no context for it.  It made as much sense as `my dog just got into the truck and drove off, never to be heard from again’ - but less.

Moments later I got the news of  the second plane.

Through the stunned silence I reasoned that the first plane could’ve been a really stupid accident but two was deliberate.

News followed;  lots of news.   Many conflicting reports.   Many upset coworkers.   Work told us to do what we thought necessary.  I looked at my boss in absolutely uncharacteristic silence, shrugged my shoulders, and went home; keeping several ears on the radio.

My throughts, respect, and sympathies go out to those who lost loved ones.We all lost a lot on that day.  It was another Kennedy moment: those who can see lost what was left of their innocence.

In no particular order, here are some observations and questions:

  • Right after the second crash, a white van was reported parked by the side of the road.  Its occupants, not of American descent, were filming the event and celebrating like fools.  They were briefly detained.  They were Israelis.  The van was registered to a moving company owned by Israelis.  They were Mossad - the Israeli CIA.  The men were released and quickly left via plane for Israel.  There is video of them talking about their activities on Israeli tv.
  • After all commercial flights were grounded, there was only one plane in the air.  It was a small jet.  In it were Saudis named bin Laden, family of Osama.  The president had to get them out of the country for their own safety.  They remain close business associates of the president.
  • There was no effective military presence in the air for over an hour after the crashes.  This is an event that had never occurred prior to that day and hasn’t happened since.  The stats on interceptions before and after that day are staggering.  You simply cannot fly into NY or DC airspace unnoticed and remain unmolested.  I live near a nuclear reactor and have listened to police/Air Force warnings and chases of small aircraft that mistakenly (or drunkenly) strayed into restricted airspace.
  • There were clear reports of five hijacked planes.  Another report of a white van possibly filled with explosives.  And still another report of a car bomb elsewhere in the city.  Where did they go?
  • Within a few hours, investigators found luggage tags identifying the hijackers and pointing to the new mantra: Osama bin Ladin.  Two buildings were reduced to rubble, yet they found luggage tags?  It took just a few repetitions of  `Osama bin Laden’ on all news outlets to make this `fact.’
  • Two steel-framed buildings pancaked and collapsed in the manner of a controlled demolition on the same day.  Yet the fires didn’t burn hot enough to melt steel.  In spite of the rush to clean up and sell the steel to China, samples showed traces of thermite (or thermate, its military-enhanced big brother).  The residue cannot be explained by a jet fuel fire.
  • Heat signatures of the area above the collapse were off the map for weeks after the event.  An ordinary fire would have burned out very quickly.  There was a pool of molten steel for weeksWhat kind of jet fuel fire melts steel and keeps it in that state for weeks?
  • Building Seven fell for no particular reason.   There were a few small fires that were quickly contained, yet the building went down in a mirror image of the other two.   The building fell at 5:20pm.  Yet at 5:10, BBC news reported the building had fallen.  How did the BBC know the building was going to come down ten minutes before it came down?  Is this some sort of new predictive news technology?
  • The 9-11 Commission was a whitewash on the order of Kennedy.  Building Seven wasn’t included in the report.  There were many facts that were presented but went conveniently unused.
  • The intelligence agencies were well aware that several foreign nationals were flight training in this country for a year prior to the event.  Info was presented to the president in his daily briefing.  All other cries of warning were stopped before they got too far up the chain.
  • Transportation Secretary Norman Maneta testified that he was in the White House bunker that morning and the vice president was getting status reports on the position of the incoming plane via an armed forces lieutenant.  When asked if there was any change in plans, Cheney snapped at the officer that he hadn’t changed orders, had he?
  • A very large covered container was removed from the Pentagon.  What was in it?
  • There was very little sign that a passenger plane hit the Pentagon.  Many experienced pilots have stated that it’s impossible to keep a 757 steady that close to the ground on the claimed trajectory at the claimed speed.  Something hit the Pentagon. It would be much easier to determine what hit the building if the government would release more than the small handful of frames of the collision.  In the heaviest surveilled few square miles in the world, one would think there’d be several very clear videos of the crash.  Yet the FBI collected it all that day and all we’ve seen is a few frames.  This alone would clear up so much, yet no one has seen fit to release the video.  Why?
  • Very little debris exists in Shanksville, PA, that would indicate a passenger plane crash.  There’s definitely a hole.  Other planes were reported in that area at that time.
  • a small handful of foreign fellows in caves thought the whole thing up?  Really?
  • Osama bin Laden is a CIA asset.  We put him in, long before 9-11.  He allegedly grew to hate the US, leading to that day’s events.  We haven’t been able to find him.  In seven years.
  • The US is paying eighty-four million dollars per month to Pakistan to `assist’ in the hunt for bin Laden.  What exactly has been obtained in the way of results?
  • When asked about the hunt for bin Laden, the president has said that it’s irrelevant now.
  • Over one million people have been killed in Iraq, including tens of thousands of Americans.  When the sick and wounded return home, they have great difficulty getting help and support from the country that sent them overseas to `fight for our rights.’
  • The only ones not having great difficulty at this point are Halliburton, et. al.
  • Follow the money.
