Yup, sure is.
The local government gave them exclusive rights to lay cable. No one else can do it.
There is absolutely no cable competition!
They can hawk their unlimited cable access up and down the block.
They can raise prices regularly without raising quality.
They can have service that’s so subpar that it has become the industry joke.
They can cut customers off, citing excessive use (of the unlimited service) but not tell them what excessive is.
They can mess with certain kinds of traffic. If they get caught, they smile and talk about how open they are.
As a show of openness, they’re capping internet usage at 250g per month.
Capping their unlimited internet usage, that is.
If people complain, they can always go back to dialup.

IF we as Consumers WILL Stand UP to the Butt - Heads like Comcast and JUST NOT USE their ISP services ………………THEN WHO has the “Last Laugh”???? I thought they”Comcast” were spanked BY the FEDS for Capping THEIR “UNlimited Usage” ALLREADY ?? ——— Have theu Forgot SO SOON —-??

Some of the comments I’m reading are actually pro-Comcast. Go figure.
We need to be getting in touch with the regulating agencies and local authorities. That will apply the requisite pressure. I hope.
