Why do we allow this? More corporate records stored in close proximity to the web.
An Indian hacker is believed to have planted a keystroke logger in a Best Western computer, stole the credentials, then sold it to the Russian mob. If you stayed at a Best Western in Europe, you had better start looking into who else has your information.
Why is giving information such a good idea? Why can’t corporations store information safely? What kind of geniuses are working as CIOs? Hasn’t there been enough online thievery yet? It’s no longer a surprise.
