Don’t know much more about the specs or, heaven forbid, the price, but you’ll be able to order it next week. I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t go with Ubuntu 8.04 preinstalled, but I won’t hold it against you (too much) if you insist upon the stripped down version of an ‘ancient OS’ (per Microsoft) called XP.
Now, how does one attach a cellular air card to a laptop without a pcmcia slot? As soon as I figure that one out and VMware finally gets around to putting out a Linux Virtual Center client, I’ll be in pretty good shape.
