My fellow Lockergnomie, Pablo Richie, revealed today that Microsoft just signed Jerry Seinfeld as their new spokesman for Vista.
Since they’re two of my favorite targets, I could not help myself - I had to comment:
I can’t think of a better-suited match than Seinfeld and Vista.
A comic that isn’t funny pitching an OS that isn’t any good. A pitchman with a bloated salary shilling for a bloated operating system. An overhyped comedian selling an overhyped OS.
Since it’s cool to like Seinfeld, maybe it will be cool to like Vista too!

What does MS need another comedian for, they already have Bill Baldmer.
What MS does need is to get their collective stuff in a group and design and build a totally new operating system that does not have any of the legacy windows code left in it nor any legacy *nix code either.
